  • Working as a TEAM
  • Communicating with others
  • Being honest at all times
  • Sharing with others
  • Being a good WINNER and a good LOSER

I feel that this netball player is a fair player and that she is a talented fair player.

My Profile 2016

Malo e lelei,
My name is Jessie and I am a Year six student at Ruapotaka School. I am 10 years old. My culture is Maori. My teacher’s name is Mrs Buchanan.
My favourite subjects at school are reading and maths. In maths we are learning to work on our times tables. My goals are to learn my 9 times tables. My favourite author is Roald Dahl. In reading we are learning to answer questions as we read the story.
My Manaiakalani teacher is Mrs Grant. We are learning to create a positive digital footprint. We have been making decisions about what personal information we will share online and what personal information we will keep private. We create a lot of digital footprints when we look at individual blogs. When we have Manaiakalani learning, we learn new things every day. My smart footprint is my favourite thing we have done so far with Mrs Grant.
My favourite State of Origin team is Queensland. My favourite player is Justin Hodges. My favourite sport is netball. I really like the Magic netball team.

I admire my family because they do everything they can do to help me and they inspire me to do things. When I grow up I would like to be a police officer.

Cress

We were learning how to grow cress. First we put cotton wool and water in the bowl and then we put the seeds in the bowl.  After we had put our name on the bowl, we put it on the table by the sun so it can have sun, water, warmth and nutrients to grow. When it was ready after two weeks, we took our cress home. This is how my cress changed over time.
