Healthy Tiria Kai

Today, we had a healthy shared lunch for the whole school at Glenbrae School. Room 8 prepared a rainbow 5 plus salad that had Orange, Apple, Capsicum, lettuce, carrot, red onion and tomatoes in it.

The other classes prepared Roti roll, Fruit kebab, Tuna sandwiches, pumpkin soup, corn fritters, veggie's and hummus.

Some of our parents were also there. After the shared lunch, some of us helped clean up the hall.

The best food I enjoyed was Roti roll, fruit kebab, and rainbow salad.

Kiwi Can

Today was kiwi can.

We had to get into four lines and Miss Tuia said ‘‘Fakalofa Lahi Atu and where does that greeting come from’’ and I answered ‘‘from Niue.’’ Then she said ‘‘We have a new topic so can everyone say ‘‘Respect.’’ Then we had to say our catchphrase our catchphrase was ‘‘Kiwi can says I show respect, you should to, Respecting our school, is what we do.

Then Mr Numia was talking to us about respect.
In kiwi can we talked about respect. Respect means if you want someone to do something for you, you do it to don’t just let them do it for you. It can also mean if someone is talking you show respect by using eye contact, and listening to what they are saying. So if they said run to honesty we have to run to honesty and so on.

Then we got into our energiser and for our energiser was we went out to the court and there were four core values. The first one was honest, the second one was integrity, the third one was caring, the fourth one was respect.

Then we got into our activity and for our activity was role play on core values. In my team was Simeon, Stephen, Telesia, and Riza - Dee and our core value was responsibility. Then we had to act it out to everyone in class.

I felt really exhausted at the end!
